how to change name server in godaddy comes up inside your mind when you have purchased a domain from a different company and need to learn now how to update name server in godaddy, right! Well, nice question. It is natural that you love domain service from one company like namecheap and hosting from godaddy. It happens, but you can ask godaddy how to change nameservers right? yes, you can. But here I have made an easy solution for you as I have talked to go godaddy already and came up with this solution.
Firstly: Login to your hosting account and click on cPanel.
Secondly: search for addon domains via search bar.
Thirdly: Click on “Addon Domains” and it will look like the bellow image, input your doman name only. no need of http, https or www. Wait for a while after input of domain name and will see that subdomain and document root options will automatically be filled up.
Fourthly: Now click on Add domain and if you see look like the image bellow, your hosting part is finished.
Fifthly: If the above process is followed. then, a folder will have created under public_html folder of your root directory folder, go see image like bellow.
Finally: Now login to your namecheap domain control panel and replace the first two name server addresses just like the bellow image:
first address should be: ns25.domaincontrol.com
second address should be: ns26.domaincontrol.com
Please note that, this address will differ from one hosting company to another. but, when you will change name server address, no matter which company’s domain you are using but, it will be connected to your hosting server.
Please also keep in mind that, this change may be visible or effective upto 48 hours which called as propagation period.
